                                         A Message from the President

 During this holiday season, as citizens of this great country, we need to give thanks for what we have and what we have accomplished this year, while remembering to assist those in need.  Galaxy Community Council members understand the accomplishments and difficulties faced by our fellow citizens in the United States Military and their families.  Please take a moment in your own way, to pray for their safety and thank them for what they are doing and what they have done to protect us all.  In the coming year we, as an organization, and I ask you as individuals, to look for ways to contribute to the family and personal needs of those who have sacrificed so much to guarantee our security and prosperity. The GCC will also look for ways to support other organizations who are helping our military

I would like to extend to all Galaxy Community Council members, Westover Air Reserve Base military and civilian personnel and all of their families, my best wishes for a happy and safe Holiday Season, as well as prosperous New Year.

Event:  Galaxy Community Council Christmas Party

Place:  Westover ARB All Ranks Club
Time:   6:00pm-7:00pm (1800-1900) Open Bar and Hors d'oeuvres
              7:00pm-8:00pm Dinner
              8:00pm till????  Music and dancing (DJ and Galaxy member Dave Klinkowski)

Tickets are $10.00 per person (GCC members and guests).  This year's party will be a "sit-down" dinner with the choices of:  Prime Rib, Chicken Marsala and Baked Haddock.  The price of the dinner includes, salad, vegetable, desert, coffee and tea.  What a great way to top off a great air show year, with good food, good friends and good music. 

TICKET ORDER WITH DINNER CHOICE MUST BE ACCOMPANIED WITH PAYMENT.  NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.

Annual dues form.  The form has been revised to include an area for members to provide background information.  Completion of the form is not mandatory but would be greatly appreciated  

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

 The January meeting will include a Special Meeting in which there will be elections of president, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.  The election will be for the January, 2009 – December, 2010 period.
