Galaxy Council Member of the Month

Dave Nunes has been a member of the Galaxy Community Council for almost 10 years.  Dave’s brother Bob, former Chicopee Fire Chief and Galaxy member along with  Galaxy members Tom O’Donnell and Bob Baranowski convinced Dave that the Galaxy Council was the type of organization that performed a great service to the country while having an enjoyable time doing so.  Married for over 30 years to the former Beverly Ferrando, Dave retired from the Chicopee Fire Department where he worked as a vehicle mechanic.  As a mechanic Dave said “our motto was, if you can break it, we can fix it”.  Dave has carried that positive attitude into his retirement making him a valuable member of the Galaxy team.  It’s people like Dave Nunes that make the Galaxy Council such a great organization.  Thanks Dave for your support.
