Galaxy Council Member of the Month

 Harvey Lafleur –Have you noticed that the speakers at the Galaxy Community Council’s monthly meeting are more easily heard?  Well, it’s thanks to Harvey Lafleur.  A five year Galaxy member, Harvey took it upon himself to manage the audio portion of the monthly meetings and, we’re sure you agree the results are excellent.  In addition to helping out at the meeting, Harvey, along with his wife Marjory and daughter Sandra Carroll have taken an active role at every air show and Family Day Picnic.  Harvey served his country as a member of General George Patton’s Third Army and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Upon his return to civilian life Harvey went to work at a “clip joint” where he made clips for ball point pens for 40 years at Van Valkenberg Tools. On April 29 Harvey and his wife celebrated their 60^th wedding anniversary.  Harvey, congratulations to you and Marjory and thanks for your contributions to the success of the Galaxy Community Council.
