Galaxy Council Member of the Month

Tom Bardon – When asked why he joined the Galaxy Community Council, Tom Bardon said that in effect, the Galaxy Community Council joined him!  Tom then explained that a subgroup of the Chicopee Chamber had taken a special interest in allowing the C-5’s to come to Westover.  A number of local residents wanted to join the subgroup but membership in the chamber was a prerequisite.  Subsequently, a decision was make to form a different organization.  With the strong support of the Westover commander, Gen. Michael Walker, the Galaxy Council was born.  Tom has been a strong supporter of the Galaxy Council ever since.  Married for 42 years, father of two and grandfather of two, Tom is a partner in Chicopee Provisions and is another fine example of the type of member that makes the Galaxy Council such a great organization.  Thanks Tom for your support.
