Galaxy Council Member of the Month

Al DiCarlo Growing up in Holyoke, Al DiCarlo’s first memories of airplanes are the sound of Westover assigned B-36 bombers droning over his home. He also remembers seeing a B-47 bomber flying overhead with its drogue chute deployed and his father saying that it might be a parachute caught on the B-47’s tail. A retired 40 year Massachusetts State Trooper, Al has memories of shaking hands with then President Ford and serving security details for President Reagan, Pope John and other dignitaries. Married for 22+ years to the former Rose DiSabatino, Al, with occasional assistance from his daughter Gina, has worked almost every air show since joining the Galaxy in 1991. Al is also a lifetime member of the Confederate Air Force now known as the Commemorative Air Force. Al DiCarlo is another fine example of the type of member that makes the Galaxy Council such a great organization. Thanks Al for your support.
