Galaxy Council Member of the Month

Tom Kurpaska – Tom Kurpaska is one of those Galaxy members who arrive early for every function, ready to lend a hand wherever help is needed.  Growing up in Wilbraham and working at family owned Tri Town Rubber in Wilbraham, Tom remembers having a large number of Westover service members as customers.  Tom said, “We always took care of those people, it was our way of saying thanks for your service”.  Growing up Tom remembers watching Westover assigned B-52 bombers taking off and landing.  “I even remember seeing Air Force C-123’s making practice runs over Westover dropping cargo”.  Tom joined the Galaxy council in 1991 and served on the Board of Director’s for 10 years. Married for 26 years to the former Kathy Carr, he is the father of two, Patrick and Sharon.  Patrick, like his father is also a Galaxy member.  Tom is another fine example of the type of member that makes the Galaxy Council such a great organization.  Thanks Tom for your support.
